The Flirt

I painted a different rose first. It was so so bad that I wiped it off immediately. I was feeling really frustrated. Like I'd forgotten how to paint. So I picked another, old rose photograph and started without a plan. So glad I did.

Thanks everyone! I used all my "reds" for this: cad red medium, alizarin crimson, and permanent rose. There's also some ult blue in there somewhere. : )
